Local Anaesthetic Teaching

Protected Teaching Time (Supervised by Dr. Uppugonduri)

This occurs weekly (Wednesday usually around 1300 Hr) for one hour for the core trainees and monthly for the speciality trainees, usually on the first Wednesday for half a day (from 0900-1300 Hr). It usually includes ITU or Cardiac Teaching. A timetable will be available with Amy Bright and all trainees are expected to attend and take an active part in teaching and learning.

All trainees should aim to and will be expected to present/teach during this activity.

Your attendance at these teaching sessions is compulsory (70% attendance is a minimum requirement) except for trainees who are on-call for ITU and Maternity. These sessions will be bleep-free. Bleeps can be left with the Anaesthetic Office to ensure calls are answered. An attendance record will be kept. Please ensure you sign it.
