We are delighted to report that we are able to release 20 places for senior trainees (ST5-7 with an interest in airway management), or Airway Fellows to attend the Airway Leads Day on Thursday 17th of March 2016 at the Royal College of Anaesthetists. If you have an Airway Fellow or a senior trainee who might be interested in attending, please could you forward this information on to them.
Overview:
There are now Airway Leads in over 80% of the hospitals in the UK. This second Airway Leads Day is to bring Airway Leads together to address some of the issues that has arisen from the ongoing implementation of the NAP4 recommendations and the new guidelines issued from by the Difficult Airway Society over the past year.
The event will specifically cover:
Based on feedback from the last event, the day includes plenty of time for discussion amongst the audience and with the speakers. Senior members of DAS and the RCoA will be present to discuss your questions. Delegates will be invited to submit questions for the forum discussion in advance (upon registration) so that themes can be addressed.
Whilst the day is aimed at Airway Leads, senior trainees with an interest in airway management or those hoping to become an Airway Lead should also find the day useful.
